The inaugural Gayming Awards took place 24 February. They were hosted by the British comedian and writer Suzi Ruffell and live streamed on Twitch to a virtual audience. The event was created by Gayming Magazine, the world’s first LGBTQ game magazine, to recognise and reward outstanding contributions in the sector from game developers, publishers and industry individuals.
Crystal Gayming awards amaze winners
The nine category winners each received one of the EFX-made, inaugural trophies. The 240mm tall tower design is manufactured in a combination of black and clear crystal, digitally printed in colour. The 3D laser logo is internally engraved and prominently highlighted by the contrasting central clear band.
A spokesperson for the Awards reported the winners are delighted with their trophies: “The team at EFX were a pleasure to work with as we designed the trophy for our inaugural awards show. The quality of the finished product is outstanding and the winners have all commented on what an amazing trophy it is, and significant it is to them”.
Hades, Tell Me Why and If Found all scooped two awards each with Hades winning the coveted Game of the Year award and Gayming Magazine Readers’ Award.
