EFX Creates Inspired Longines League Of Nations Trophy for Global Equestrian Event

It’s such an honour for EFX to be involved in something so prestigious, creating trophies for two events of the Federation Equestrian International (FEI): the Longines League of Nations™, a new global team jumping series launched in 2023, and the FEI Vaulting World Cup™.

The Longines League of Nations see the 10 best nations in the world competing in four qualifiers: Abu Dhabi (UAE), Ocala (USA), Rotterdam (NED) and St. Tropez (FRA), before the 8 best teams battle it out in the Final hosted by the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. Team Germany won the first ever Longines League of Nations™ title in 2024, after a nail-biting second round on the difficult course designed by Santiago Varela, with just 4 penalty points advantage vs. Team Netherlands.

Vaulting is a harmonious bond between horse and athlete that creates awe-inspiring acrobatic displays of skill and precision. The FEI Vaulting World Cup™ crowns the world cup champion for the Male, Female, Pas De Deux categories and Squad categories. The new trophy has been unveiled during the FEI Vaulting World Cup™ final in Bern in 2024, and has returned to shine in the hands of gold medallists in the same venue for the 2025 final.

Inspired Design

Events as highly regarded as these need a trophy to match in quality and finish. That’s where EFX stepped in. We were presented with the drawings designed by Jacek Kaminski who was inspired by the precision and elegance of the Longines League of Nations™ brand and creates the trophy’s unique design, symbolising the 10 participating nations in the shape of a hoof. Our production team went all out to create a 3D manufactured trophy of the striking design for trophy. Taking inspiration from the rotational movement of a ‘watch’ to create the aluminium twisted elements and the meticulously milled ‘hoof’ inspired aluminium base. The top of this trophy has a chamfered edge top to give the subtle yet beautiful nod to the horse shoe. It captured the light perfectly on the winning day!

The FEI Vaulting World Cup™ trophy also has a similar beautiful twisted design top and hoof inspired aluminium base.
