EFX Acclaimed for World Branding Awards

Special EFX has been privileged to be part of the first ever World Branding Awards. The EFX studio initially created the striking design, working closely with the team at the World Branding Forum which created this prestigious, global event. The design focus is the Forum’s logo, manufactured in nickel and gold plate and accented in acrylic. Richard Rowles, Chairman of the World Branding Forum was impressed: “We were all extremely pleased with the quality and design of the trophies for the World Branding Awards. The team at EFX was a delight to work with, helping us at every stage of the process, starting with the design. The end result was a spectacular trophy that was appreciated by everyone who was lucky to win an award”.

In order to be even nominated for an award, your brand has to be in the top 100! And, the judging process is impressively objective, involving four streams of judging and voting. Amongst the winners this year was Tony Fernandes CBE, founder of AirAsia and Chairman of Queens Park Rangers FC, who was presented with the Brand Builder of the Year award for his work at AirAsia. The event was held at the prestigious One Whitehall Place and was hosted by David Croft of Sky Sports. Around 100 invited guests, representing 69 brands from 25 countries, attended cocktails and the gala dinner.
