Celebrating Nottingham Forest’s European Return – Crafted in Legacy

To mark Nottingham Forest’s long-awaited return to European competition, EFX were proud to design and manufacture a series of commemorative awards presented to UEFA delegates and opposing clubs, representing heritage, respect and sporting tradition at the highest level of the game.

Each award has been carefully crafted to reflect the identity of Nottingham itself. With the heart of the Bow and Arrow design inspired by the iconic figure of Robin Hood, whose legacy is inseparable from Sherwood Forest and the city’s enduring spirit of courage and resilience. His bow symbolises strength, precision, and defiance – qualities that define both Nottingham and Nottingham Forest on their European journey.

In addition to the large Bow and Arrow design we followed up this client order with a cubix design featuring an intricate digitally printed lace pattern, inspired by Nottingham’s world-renowned lace industry. Once the global centre of lace production, Nottingham exported craftsmanship of exceptional quality across Europe. This same lace design features in the club’s 2025/26 away kit, creating a powerful connection between the team, the city, and the awards themselves.

Honouring Nottingham’s History

Precision-engineered and expertly finished, these commemorative pieces embody the pride, history, and craftsmanship that define both Nottingham and our work. The larger Bow and Arrow design is created from waterjet cut Solid Aluminium with a Gold Anodised finish & red printed detailing to bring the bow and arrow to life. Presented to the delegation from Ferencváros by the Nottingham Forest’s chairman.

The Lace inspired Cubix are a white glass tower with lace detailing printed on all four sides. A great example of how a range of awards for one client can represent a variety of important factors and a theme, while still having design synergy.
