Celebrating Britain’s Community Heroes at The National Diversity Awards



Celebrating its 14th year, the National Diversity Awards (NDA) honours the incredible achievements of individuals, community organisations, role models, entrepreneurs, and celebrities driving positive change for diversity and inclusion in all its forms. Winners of the NDA’s were announced on September 19th in the stunning Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, hosted by broadcaster, author, presenter and journalist Clare Balding CBE, a renowned champion of diversity, inclusion and equity.
Clare Balding spoke of the Awards importance – “These inspiring and uplifting awards shine a spotlight on the incredible strength and positivity of an inclusive society, celebrating community heroes whose dedication and achievements might otherwise go unrecognised.” Over the past thirteen years, the NDA has grown into something quite special, a beacon of recognition, celebrating the stories and accomplishments of those who inspire change and champion equality.
Their mission is to shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes of communities, showcasing the power of diversity in shaping a brighter, more inclusive future. The Head of Design at Inclusive Companies was grateful to the team at EFX for providing top quality awards for such worthy winners – “Thank You Dave and the team at EFX as always for the quality awards you produce for us each year.”
The winning individuals and organisations were selected from over 87,000 nominees from a diverse range of campaigns, advocacy and community support, with 126 finalists in 15 categories and chosen in recognition of their dedication to advancing equality, diversity and inclusion. With numerous incredible sponsors like Amazon, HSBC UK, BT Group & Autotrader UK.
Some of the fabulous winners on the night included, the amazing Danny Beard for Celebrity of the Year Award 2025, Surrey Coalition of Disabled People for the Community Organisation Disability Award and Volkswagen Group UK Ltd for most Diverse Company Award. Other winners celebrated were an adaptive fashion designer, a neurodivergent actor / influencer, British born Chinese priest and two charities, one supporting underrepresented youngsters and the other engaging with prisoners from a Black or mixed-race heritage.
Inspired Design For Inspiring People
This unique and striking tower design, stacks the three bold letters upon one another, featuring their ‘D’ Diversity logo as the focal point. Created from solid high shine nickel plated aluminium, with a black wooden base and engraved winner’s plate. EFX are proud to celebrate such remarkable role models within their organisations and communities.
