A Vibrant Celebration For The Midnight Moon Awards

With David Walliams, best-selling children’s author, comedian & actor as host and a vibrant carnival theme, Banana Moon’s annual awards were set to be a sensation!! In 2024 the fiesta came to celebrate the magic of early years childcare. With a kaleidoscope of colour, mesmerising entertainment and feel-good vibes, the winners were ecstatic to be awarded in Banana Moon Day Nursery’s Midnight Moon Awards.

Banana Moon Day Nursery is a franchise nursery with over 50 sites UK-wide. Each year, event agency Denfield produce and deliver the Midnight Moon Awards, which is an opportunity for all nurseries to come together, enjoy great company and have the opportunity to network whilst potentially taking home one of the coveted MMA Awards. Now in its 9th year, it’s going from strength to strength with bolder themes, making it a real feel-good awards.

With costumes, confetti cannons, elaborate masks, Brazilian samba dancers and Batucada drummers, the captivating carnival spirit was encapsulated with an authentic and high-energy experience. The Midnight Moon Awards have a wide range of categories like Franchisee of the Year, Nursery Management Team of the Year, Social Media User of the Year, Excellence in Additional Needs, Culinary Star of the Year & many more!

The pinnacle of each Midnight Moon Awards is the prestigious Nursery of the Year award. It’s an award for excellence in all areas: achieving top marks in audits and ensuring every policy and procedure is followed. The criteria also includes attending regular training, advocating the Banana Moon curriculum, and championing the brand.

Previous winners have included new nurseries that truly hit the ground running in their first year and long-established nurseries that excel in every area.

Carnival Inspired Awards

2024’s awards were inspired by the carnival theme and the elaborate masks typical of these festivals. The mask was created using silver anodised and polished nickel plated aluminium award with digitally printed detail on top & the base is engraved with the worthy winners & Banana Moon branding. A finish like this is perfect to reflect all of the colour from this vibrant event.
