How to get the best out of your SolarEFX Charger

Your SolarEFX Charger incorporates some of the highest efficiency Polycrystalline Photovoltaic Cells on the market today, converting light directly into clean, safe and sustainable electricity. This 'free' electricity is stored in batteries within the SolarEFX for delivery via the USB port to external portable electronic devices, both day and night. Use it to recharge your Mobile Phone, power your CD or Mini disc Player on the beach, or give almost endless game-play on your Gameboy etc.

The amount of electricity the SolarEFX generates is governed by the brightness of the available sunlight...on a dull day the panel will produce 10 to 30% of the maximum power achievable on a sunny day. For maximum output your SolarEFX should be used in clear sunny conditions, and it should be noted that a cool sunny day will produce better performance than a hot one. The recharging of your SolarEFX will take place in almost all lighting conditions, even indoors under artificial light, (incandescent light only) but at a much lower rate. In bright sunlight you can expect the SolarEFX to be fully charged from flat in approximately 5 hours. Placing your SolarEFX Charger facing directly towards the sun can be assisted by using the integral folding stand.

If you intend to recharge a mobile phone from a fully charged SolarEFX with no light available, you can expect to charge the phone to around 50% of its maximum capacity before the internal batteries within the SolarEFX are exhausted. In sunlight, the SolarEFX will replenish it's own batteries as the external device is being charged. In short...the more sunlight...the more efficiently your SolarEFX operates...the greater its capacity to run external devices.

• Angle the panel directly towards the sun at all times o Disconnect your mobile device when it is charged, allowing the panel to replenish its own internal batteries
