Newsletter June 2010
welcome

We are feeling fabulously rejuvenated following the launch of our new website. It is literally full of lots of award and trophy designs that we have created and corporate gift ideas.
We hope you like the new look.

It is always hard to explain succinctly what we can do; the options are just so numerous so we thought pictures would be better than words.

The new website layout means that you can search for awards by style, material, industry sector or type of event.
Happy browsing!

The Nation’s Favourite, Cheryl Cole, has been presented with Glamour Woman of the Year 2010, and we are pleased to report that the etched glass and aluminium award EFX produced for this high-octane event looked the part with the shimmering Julien MacDonald number she was wearing!

What an evening, with James Corden , who hosted it! Run by Glamour Magazine the event certainly lived up to its name, with the celebrity prize-winning line-up including Billie Piper and Lily Allen, and lucky Aaron Johnson, who was voted Man of the Year.

Nike Cup WinnersNike CupThe recent UK Nike Cup, held at the Trafford Soccer Dome on 29 May, was organised by Limelight Sports; they asked for something, which was different and not your normal football trophy. Well, I'm pleased to say we succeeded. Our design team got very enthusiastic and came up with the heaviest acrylic award we have ever made at 6 kgs!

James from Limelight reports: “The lads loved it, as it looked and felt so impressive”. It sounds like it was quite a day, with 20 Kickz Clubs competing, the latest Nike 5-a-side specific footwear on trial and DJ and graffito workshops on offer too.

This amazing award was commissioned by Nikken, the total wellness company, for its Consultants' Celebrate Convention 2010, recently held in Paris. The company was celebrating its 35th anniversary and the mirror ball, which was an integral part of the event's logo and epitomised the disco years of the 1970's, made the perfect design for this prestigious award.

Made from mirrored glass, fixed to an aluminium base, the Glitter Ball award is quite a show-stopper and very much appreciated by Claude Dalla Palma, who was presented with it as Nikken's new European Consultant of the Year.
